YouTube has added a new continue watching feature on its website – Last week’s Homework
…as we had failed to test it out for the show yesterday like a pair of amateurs! I can now confirm it’s working between phone and PC (Windows 10). You have to start the video from the Android phone then put it on pause, then open YouTube in Chrome on Desktop and the mini-player pops up, bottom-right, continuing your video. I can’t see how to make it work the other way round though. Doesn’t seem to work on the telly via Roku.
Nope, no mini player on desktop, chromebook. Phone, tablet, TV, bathtub…

I recently came across the free Format Factory software when looking to join some video files.
I’ve found that it offers a ton of tools for converting, manipulating, and processing all sorts of files: video, audio, image, and documents etc.
Plus there’s some other useful tools in there.
Very handy and easy to use.
I’m starting to prefer it to Handbrake for basic video conversions.
It’s worth looking through everything you can do in one piece of software.
Beware when installing: there are some checkbox screens offering up additional software that can be unchecked to avoid.
