Sallah and the decent into the Cavern of Doom – Bone Keeper (2026)
Horror fans, mark your calendars (and maybe check under your beds). Plaion Pictures has officially announced that Howard J. Ford’s latest creature feature, Bone Keeper, is headed for its World Premiere at FrightFest Glasgow on March 6th.
The story kicks off with a fireball crashing into a remote woodland, an ancient terror is stirred from its slumber.
Fast forward to 1976: James Wheeler ventures into the darkness to find the truth, only to vanish forever. The only clue left behind? A single, bone-chilling frame of Super 8 film showing a monstrous silhouette. Now, Wheeler’s granddaughter and a team of five explorers head back into those same woods to debunk the legend of the Bone Keeper.” Needless to say, they find exactly what they were looking for, and it’s hungry.
Director Howard J. Ford (DarkGame, Escape) returns to the helm, bringing a seasoned eye for tension and atmosphere. The film features a stellar lineup, including:
Sarah Alexandra Marks, Louis James, Tiffany Hannam-Daniels (All three appeared in several movies togther, River Of Blood being the only one I know) and the great John Rhys-Davies (British acting royalty known for The Lord of the Rings and Raiders of the Lost Ark)
Whether you’re a fan of cosmic horror, creature features, or just want to see John Rhys-Davies face off against an ancient evil, Bone Keeper looks to be a must-watch this spring. Just remember: in the depths of the cave, the line between hunter and prey is paper-thin.
