The kids aren’t playing around in Hive
Tubi has unveiled the official trailer for Hive, an indie horror-thriller set to stream for free beginning April 17, 2026. Expanding on Felipe Vargas’ 2024 short film of the same name, the feature follows a strict, anxiety-ridden teen who loses the child she’s babysitting, only to discover something deeply unsettling lurking among a group of children at a nearby playground. As paranoia sets in and her grip on reality begins to fracture, she’s drawn into a nightmarish scenario where nothing is quite what it seems.
Led by Xochitl Gomez, alongside Aaron Dominguez, Zenobia Kloppers, and Tanya van Graan, Hive leans hard into its eerie “creepy kids” premise with an offbeat, low-budget energy. It looks equal parts bizarre and unsettling, almost like a fake trailer brought to life, but that strange edge could make it a memorable watch for fans of weird, scrappy horror, much like their recent Match (2026). This one might be worth keeping on your radar.
