Feedback:
Ian Barton on Rclone
Rclone is similar to rsync. However, it is specifically designed to manage storage on various cloud services. It’s very useful for moving files from your computer to a cloud service. Like rsync it doesn’t copy files that already exist on the target drive and if only part of a file was uploaded (maybe lost connection) it will complete uploading the rest of the file when you are connected again. This feature is very useful when transferring big files such as videos where your connection might drop half way through the upload.
John Husband on Pi-Hole – Setup Network-wide Ad Blocking w/ Raspberry Pi
If anybody is interested in improving WiFi speeds and reducing adverts when surfing this is the Youtube link to Pi Hole video which Gareth posted on Whatever Works. The video is very easy to follow and the guy doing the video also gives technical reasons why PI Hole is better than Add Blocker.
BTW, very enjoyable show this week and really appreciate the time and effort you guys put in to create Tech Addicts.
Jeremy Harpham on Amazon Music HD
Amazon Music HD hi-res audio tier is now free for all Amazon Music users. With Apple set to be releasing a hi-res audio option soon, it looks like the hi-res audio wars are about to start. As an Amazon Music HD family subscriber, I received a notification email that from my next billing period the HD element would now be free.
I was paying £19.99 a month (for 6 people) and now it will be £14.99.
