Escape From L.A. getting a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Stateside

I am under absolutely no illusion that his is a good movie, however, I would give my right arm for a chance to delve into the crazy car crash of ideas that bore Escape From L.A.

After releasing a sunning version of John Carpenter’s Escape From New York on a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray back in 2015, Scream Factory is now giving the second Snake Plissken outing similar treament. Hopefully this will recieve a similar release here in the UK soon after.

Escape From L.A. is the an insane oddiy that proves you cannot expect good results when all of the elements are perfect. The cast is maybe one of the best of the 90’s, with Russell, Fonda, Greer, Buscemi, Robertson and he mighty Bruce Campbell. Carpenter was back in control, a pumped soundtrack and a lush canvas to expand upon left by the amazing predecessor.

From Scream Factory: “Snake Plissken is back once again in JOHN CARPENTER’S ESCAPE FROM L.A., the 1996 sequel to the original hit film Escape from New York. Coming soon to Blu-ray from us in an all-new definitive edition! Details we have at this time are as follows:
